Technology
The MedCor4U platform comprises a Mobile App on both Android and iOS platform, and a cloud for securely storing users data.
The app allows the measuring equipment to connect wirelessly to the app via Bluetooth protocol. MedCor4U mobile app is device vendor-independent, allowing the team to choose the best available devices in the market. With one click the user can capture the readings.
MedCor4U architecture allows integration with the clinic’s systems using different connectivity protocols. Following are the supported protocols
HL7 FHIR: MedCor4U platform is compatible with the next-generation standards framework for healthcare interoperability HL7 FHIR to solve administrative and billing problems, in addition to seamless transmission of the users’ vital signs.
RESTful API: MedCor4U platform can also connect to any RESTful APIs for the purpose of the transmission of the users’ vital signs.

Best medical devices (FDA Approved and CE certified) have been chosen to be integrated with the MedCor4U solution, allowing users to take their own readings efficiently and accurately.

During the unprecedented early months of COVID-19 pandemic many patients, including heart failure patients and post acute coronary syndrome patients across the world, were unable to receive the necessary medical attention from their healthcare professionals, because most of the healthcare systems in the world were simply inundated with COVID-19 patients. The MedCor4U app solution was born due to the urgent medical necessities of all patients including COVID-19 patients.
Our aim is to create a secure telemonitoring system to connect patients and their vital signs directly to their healthcare professional and hospital’s Electronic Health Records (EHR) by using various types of backend connectivity protocols.
We followed a strict criteria to select only clinically approved, high quality home monitoring devices such as contactless thermometers, blood pressure, saturation and body composition monitors. The result is MedCor4U mobile based application with secure connectivity to various devices and at the same time user friendly.
